🌼 Peek into my Watercolor Workshop! In September, I taught a class called ‘Wildflower Blooms’ where we spent the afternoon doing one of my favorite things: watercolor painting in the garden 🌸

💕Thank you to all the creative & enthusiastic participants who were so open to trying something new and brought great energy to the day! I loved sharing my love of watercolor with you.💕

We went into the garden, clipping flowers to paint from and looking closely at petal shapes and colors. There are a million ways to express florals in art! I try to be inspired by where I am, capturing the experience and how I’m feeling in the moment. 🎨

We lucked out with the most gorgeous day and I’m grateful for our hosts, Mike and Suzy Poe, the owners of Cloud Croft Studios and Christina DiStefano director of the Tioga Arts Council who made sure we had everything we needed and let us ‘tiptoe thru the tulips’!  Thank you for indulging me in this idea for a workshop and helping to make it happen.

This workshop was made possible in part from funds granted by NYS Council of the Arts 🩷
