Plowshares is Central New York’s premiere multicultural craftsfair, featuring over 120 local craftspeople and community organizations. A beautiful community of activists, conscientious consumers and fair traders gather for a weekend of commerce and communing at the Plowshares Craftsfair and Peace Festival.

Join me at beautiful Cloud Croft Studios in Owego for a fun afternoon of painting! We’ll start with a walk through the gardens discussing the different flowers, noticing color, petal shape, leaves and other details. We’ll discuss painting from life and taking inspiration from where you are, rather than strictly painting what you see. Welcoming those who have worked with watercolors before and Beginners who have an interest in learning something new.

Tioga Arts Council (TAC), in partnership with Cloud Croft Studios (CCS), is excited to announce its seventh juried regional art exhibition, Everyday Life, Every Day Art. The Opening Night & Awards Ceremony will be on Friday, August 23, 2024. After the opening, the exhibition will run from August 24 to September 29, 2024. It will feature work from artists within a 100-mile radius of Owego, encompassing 25 counties in New York and Pennsylvania

What do you say when someone asks “What kind of artist are you?” Do you have a great answer? Every artist has a story. Your story is unique and authentic and always evolving. In this workshop we’ll discuss our own Artist Stories as a group. Working together as fellow artists, providing fresh perspectives and tools for clearly describing who we are and what kind of work we create. At the very least we’ll all have a better response to that question and be ready to share it with anyone who asks!

SIP: A Ceramic Cup Show is an annual exhibition featuring over 180 functional ceramic mugs, yunomi, pour-overs and more from clay artists from Savannah and across the country. Proceeds from the exhibition benefit each individual artist, and a percentage of all cup sales is be donated to the Emmaus House in Savannah to help provide nourishment for the hungry.

Rachel Consolazio, Ann Pellegrino and Michelle Schleider are a group of local artists that have been meeting regularly for over 7 years. They will share how they started their group, what their meetings are like and how this time together has impacted their creative journeys.

Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival is a free outdoor festival that draws 10-12,000 people to East and West Parks of downtown Norwich, NY, each year on the weekend after Labor Day, with its juried art and fine crafts for sale in an interactive atmosphere, acoustic music by professional singer-songwriters, literary arts, creative culinary arts, and hands-on art experiences for all ages. Admission and all activities are entirely FREE of charge. Rain or shine.

The Crafts Alliance presents two Fine Craft Shows at the Chautauqua Institution. These intimate shows feature the work of award-winning artists from across the United States, in the beautiful setting around Bestor Plaza. Contemporary fine crafts media are fully represented with unique objects in a wide range of prices. I am thrilled to be participating for the first time, I will be at the July show!

My 'Strawberry Field' ceramic collection along with 8 framed original watercolor paintings will be on display at Experience Tioga Tourism office in Owego for the summer. Thank you to Tioga Arts Council and Experience Tioga for the opportunity to share my work! It’s exciting for me to display all these pieces I’ve been working on all winter and get them out in the world.

My 'Orange Love'Fruit Bowl was selected to be exhibited at DelecTABLE 2023 in Denver, CO! A juried exhibit dedicated to the presentation of functional ceramics, focusing on the fine art of dining, including serving vessels, place settings, platters, and dinner table décor. Proceeds from the sale of work, and associated events that will showcase the work, will benefit the Art Students League of Denver and its ceramics program.

The Members’ Show includes fine art from members of Broome County Arts Council.
