'Lovely Town' is love letter to my neighborhood. In the early stages of the COVID-19 lockdown, I took many walks through my neighborhood and was so moved by the experience of a community working together during a difficult time. Optimistic messages written on driveways, teddy bears in windows, birthday parades with handmade signs. We were all quarantined & scared, but the mood felt hopeful. I found this time to be so inspiring and have created a whole series of ceramic pieces and paintings with this imagery.
